What are some of the challenges facing aspiring writers? What is the current state of the publishing industry? What about the impact of the internet, new publishing technologies, bookstores closing, and the range of new media options? These and other topics related to books and writing for the sexually adventurous will be discussed How will you benefit from this presentation If you've thought about publishing, this panel has a range of experiences and background from traditional publishing to some of the new directions in getting your work in front of perverts. About the presenters: Race Bannon has been part of our scene for 34 years and his accomplishments include founder and former President of Daedalus Publishing Company, Project Coordinator for The DSM Project, co-founder of the Kink Aware Professionals referral directory, advice columnist, freelance writer, internet radio talk show host, author of the bestselling Learning The Ropes: A Basic Guide to Safe and Fun S/M Lovemaking, and board member of numerous clubs and organizations. Blade T Bannon entered the Leather, BD/SM community in the early 80’s while coming out in Los Angeles. He’s held multiple titles including Bum Steer Drummer boy 1991, Mr. Charlie’s Leather 1993 and Southwest Mr. Drummer 1993. He is currently Mr. Leather Sir 2008. Blade now spends most of his time in San Francisco with his partner and life mate. However, he still holds residence in Phoenix and returns on a regular bases. When he’s not traveling, he still actively Mentors young men and devotes any extra time he may have to the community at large.. |
