About

The Leather Leadership Conference (LLC) is an organization dedicated to strengthening the Leather/BDSM/Kink/Fetish community through the development of the leadership skills of community members and fostering a greater sense of connection between and within community groups.

Each year, hundreds of leaders from the Leather/BDSM/Kink/Fetish and allied communities gather to learn, teach and network with their peers. Now in its second decade, topics presented range from introductory presentations designed for emerging leaders to topical and advanced selections designed to engage long time members of our national community.

Every conference will typically offer keynote addresses designed to probe our reflective thought processes, presentations and workshops such as event financing, volunteer management, conflict resolution, and organizing advocacy efforts, as well as ample time for networking. Meeting friends and colleagues from around the United States – and even from around the world – strengthens old bonds and creates new friendships.

As we move forward, we look forward to meeting the needs of an ever growing community. There are ways you can become part of the LLC experience.

Apply to Become a Board Member

Every year at least 3 board terms come open. These are open to re-applying current board members and to new applications. The Leather Leadership Conference is committed to forming the best possible team to meet the needs of the organization, so it is never a given that reapplying board members are re-elected. Due to term limits, there are also openings that are being completely vacated. For more information - go to the bottom of the Board page.

Put Together a Local Team to Host a Future Conference

As a mobile event, we are actively looking for new locations to host a future conference. Information on Bids and the current year open for bid can be found on our "Hosting" page, or you may contact any Board member to ask questions, either by email or at the Annual Conference! This is a great way to bring National and International awareness of your local community, to build a coalition of community and regional resources, and to bring leadership skills to your area - and give back to your community!

Attend the Conference

As a mobile event, we strive to keep the conference accessible. If it’s not nearby this year, it will be soon. Check our website regularly for information about upcoming conferences, and get on our mailing list to stay checked in.

Present at the Conference

Whether you have a leadership skill that you want to share or a group doing important work, consider leading a presentation or workshop, or submit a poster for our poster session.

As we continue to grow – so does our need for assistance. Please join our growing mailing list for information on how you and your community can give a helping hand on a wide variety of projects.

Provide Feedback

Are we meeting your needs? Have we missed something you want to see? How can we be of better service to you and your community? Please tell us what you think and serve as part of our web of leaders who continue to identify and speak out on good ideas and the challenges ahead in our extended nation.
