Call for Volunteers

The Leather Leadership Conference XI needs a wide range of volunteers.  While many opportunities exist for people in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area, we especially need help from around the nation prior to the start of the conference in the following capacities:

LLC Individual Giving Representatives

Participate in the Procurement Committee activities, which includes identification of individuals to target and monitor fundraising efforts. You would be willing to ask individuals for financial support toward LLC XI. This would be an ideal role for a friendly respected member of the community.  Experience asking for money at events or from organizations is a plus, as is prior leadership experiences within leather organizations.

Ad and Sponsorship Sales

People willing to approach businesses, chosen and assigned, for the purpose of selling sponsorships or advertising packages. They should be friendly, understanding, and interested in meeting the needs of potential sponsors and advertisers. Not being afraid to be "out" to the individuals, organizations, and businesses approached is helpful.
If you are interested in any of these roles please contact us at llcvolunteers@gmail.com. We will also be looking for volunteers for a variety of other positions in the future, so feel free to make contact and let us know what you're interested in and available to do.

Security

Ideally, we would like to find one or two who would act as head of Security for the entire weekend. That person would be fully compensated. We feel it would be far more organized to have a lead who is familiar with the conference and could help train in the part time volunteers for this area. Additionally,  we would like to have 7-10 people help with Security. Duties will include checking badges of attendees(to be sure they are a part of the conference), answering questions, watching the Art Gallery, and just being a presence in the hotel.

Sunday Tear Down:
We could use several people, we are not sure exactly how many at this time, to help with taking down all of the LLC materials from the hotel, packing supplies and transporting equipment and supplies out of the hotel.
