Lisa Vandever
Lisa Vandever is co-founder and director of CineKink, an organization that recognizes and promotes the positive depiction of alternative sexuality in film and television. A producer, writer and consultant, she is currently directing her own documentary, “A Public Voyeur,” a profile of SM photographer and activist Barbara Nitke.
CineKink
Through its annual festival and tour, CineKink presents a collection of films and videos that cut across orientations to explore and celebrate a wide diversity of alternative sexuality, drawing audiences that include both long-time "scene" members and kink-curious newcomers. With works typically ranging from documentary to drama, camp comedy to hot porn - and everything in between – this sample screening includes some favorite shorts culled from CineKink past and present.

Midori
Midori is inspired by various traditional Japanese uses of rope in art, craft and sexual expression. Her work includes performance, sculpture, rigging and photography. Linda Ophoenix
Linda Ophoenix is a highly erotic artist who tries to keep the lines between sensuality and real life blurred as much as possible. By trade she is an interior designer, pursuing her degree from DCTC. In the lifestyle she is a Domme, with a “secret switch” in her pocket.
Steve Lenius
Steve Lenius has been writing the Leather Life column for Lavender Magazine since 1995. As the magazine evolved from black ink on newsprint to full color on glossy paper, he has been able to feature more photojournalism in his column. Some of the photographs hanging in the LLC-XI gallery have appeared in the magazine and some are being seen publicly for the first time.
ButcherBlak
ButcherBlak is a semi-professional artist and writer working and living in the Twin Cities. Two years ago, he wrote an original play for performance with the Minnesota Fringe Festival. Currently, he is working on his second theatrical production – and it’s a musical, baby! Previous exhibitions include: Creative Electric Gallery, 5th at 5th Gallery, Northfield Arts Guild Gallery, CONvergence, Minicon, Twin Con and a gallery show in Moscow.
Nagrom Morgan Monceaux
Sir Nagrom is a singer, dancer, historical storyteller and painter. Born and raised in Alexandria Louisiana. Served in the Navy during Vietnam war and then wandered America. Opened galleries to show the work of local and regional black artists. The artist questions the fascination of americans with power and leadership, by doing so with such imagination and nerve makes our elected stewards out a human and approachable. Other exhibits have focused on jazz innovators, dance, first ladies and presidents; and royals.
In addition to a slide show of Sir Nagrom's work at the art gallery, during the poster session, we will also be showing a biographical video.
