    Board of Directors

    Warren - Chair

Warren resides in Cary, North Carolina where he lives with his partner and collared boy, Martin and their "child" Sully a beautiful Husky/Beagle mix. Warren was born in Savannah, GA and raised in the Washington Metropolitan Area where he began his community service career. He served as Community Relations Director with DC's Black Lesbian and Gay Pride in 1992-1994. After relocation to Atlanta, GA in 1995, he acted as a consultant to develop Atlanta's first black gay pride festival, ITLA/In The Life Atlanta. During that time, he also held seats on the local boards of GLAAD/Atlanta and the Atlanta Lambda Center, a GLBTQ Community Center and was elected co-chair of the center in 1997. As the co-chair of the Lambda Center, Warren touched all facets of Atlanta's GLBTQ community including the leather/kink communities.
After his introduction to leather, he moved to the Bay Area in 1998 where he found his leather family in the Golden Gate Guards, a Leather/Levi social organization and non-profit 501(c)3. He has also served 3 years as president. He's also worked extensively with Leather Levi Weekend as an Executive Committee member since 2004 and served as the event co-chair in 2006. Warren holds the title of San Francisco Leather Daddy XXIV, which he won in July, 2006.

    Lee - Vice

Lee Aspland has been involved in the leather community for more than fifteen years, first in the Southeast, then San Francisco where she was active in the South and East Bay leather communities. She served as a volunteer for Folsom Street Events for 2 years before serving as the Board Secretary for 2 years. Following her departure from San Francisco, she served as the Volunteer Coordinator for Southeast Leatherfest, while living in Los Angeles with her Owner and their family. Just over a year and a half ago, Lee relocated to the northwest suburbs of Chicago with her family - where they now enjoy watching the bunny rabbits in the backyard torment their cats and dog.
Lee is a bootblack, a mentor, an activist, and an educator on a variety of topics, including lifestyle issues, non-profit management and growth issues, and fetishes. Her passion includes working with organizations to help them realize their potential and future successes, and teaching people in any venue to see the light in their eyes when they get it, and move beyond what she was able to share, to then teach her.
This is Lee's third year as a member of the Board of Directors for the Leather Leadership Conference - and her second year serving as the Vice-Chair. Her focus with the board has been foundation building and documenting the policies and procedures to ensure longevity and continuity from year to year. She is very excited to be working closely with the amazing team from Los Angeles for LLC XV - and hopes everyone will join the party in Los Angeles to celebrate the seven deadly sins of the Lost Angels.
